We have openings for a full-time Utility Worker in the Quaker Valley area. M-F 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Job Description:
- Performs activities related to water system maintenance, including water quality and water supply
- Install, repair and replace water mains, water services, water meters, and fire hydrants.
- Customer service activities and interacts with public in a professional manner
- May read meter manually and/or using automated equipment
- May operate heavy machinery
Job Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Will be required to attain Class E, Subclass 8 and 12 Water System Certification within 24 months
- Maintain availability to respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day 7 days a week
- Background check and drug screening required
